I was always facinated by Egypt, the piramids, the Sphinx, Tutankhamun,
The Valley of the Death, Luxor, Abu Simbel etc.
We went there for our honeymoon, now 34 years ago, it was
our fist vacation outside of Europe and it was wonderful to see everything.
What a romantic honeymoon destination...

How lucky you are to have visited! I lived in the country next door for 7 years (Libya) but was too young to go. My parents went when they moved to another country but went without me :-(
