Whenever I think of Romania, I think of Dracula!
Count Dracula, a fictional character in the Dracula novel by Bram Stoker,
was inspired by one of the best-known figures of Romanian history,
Vlad Dracula, nicknamed Vlad Tepes (Vlad the Impaler),
who was the ruler of Walachia at various times from 1456-1462.

DeleteThanks! D
DeleteI love your take on the theme. When I lived in England we went to the Monastery where Bram Stoker wrote Dracula. It was 199 steps up to it!
ReplyDeleteO, I would love to visit that monastery!
DeleteThe day we went the monastery was closed but the climb was fun
