  1. Love this one AJ. Very colorful. Is the rose a combination of the Yorkshire and Lancashire rose or is it representative of white and red for the English flag colors? Please excuse my ignorance!
You can find my INCHIE, yes Inchie rather than Twinchie this week, here

  2. I love it too, AJ, and would like to learn the explanation as well! ChrisJ, an INCHIE? Whoo Hoo! You can see my inchie here . Have a great week, ladies!

  3. Yes - the Tudor rose was created when the houses of York and Lancaster were finally combined after the Wars of the Roses. But Scotland was still a separate country at the time (until James I of England/James VI of Scotland became king after Elizabeth I died).

  4. My Border Inchies this week are at - and I REALLY need someone to refresh my memory on creating a link to MY blog from the EIM blog?? You have done it before, but I have forgotten :-( Thanks

  5. Yes, Trillian,it's worth showing off AJ's border - it's really well done!

Struggled with mine this week, but you can find it here

  6. You're all being very kind!
That picture doesn't tell the whole story. See here for the disastrous first attempt!
